2008 Matric results by district

This website has been produced with the financial assistance of the European Union. The contents of this document are the sole responsibility of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty and the South African Institute of Race Relations and can under no circumstances be regarded as reflecting the position of the European Union.
The 2008 matric are presented here by region and district. The large variations in the pass rates will bring to the attention of municipal councillors and officials, as well as development organisations within each of the municipalities, where the weaknesses and strengths lie in terms of providing equal opportunities of learning to the rich and poor.

Matric results really cause problems for children after leaving matric. What does it give them? I mean the curricullum has been kicked out of every country it was implemented in. So should we take the scraps of other countries?
