How is our family life doing in South Africa? This edition of Fast Facts for Local Government seeks to provide some of the answers. The statistics show certain worrying trends. For example, there are more orphans in South Africa now than there were seven years ago. The numbers will increase in line with rising adult deaths from HIV/AIDS.
